If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you know that the F80 Kabuki Brush by Sigma Beauty is my favorite brush to apply my foundation with. I’ve been using it for years and I’ve repurchased it twice so far. It’s made to apply liquids, creams and powders, but I personally only use it to apply liquid foundation. It’s super soft and easily buffs in my foundation, giving me a really nice, ‘flawless’ finish: no weird stripes or patches. I’ve never had any issues with loose bristles either.
Sigma has recently come out with a new version of it, called the 3DHD Kabuki Brush and being the long-time fan that I am, I purchased it to see if this upgrade is as good (or better) than the F80. And after a couple of weeks of daily use, I can honestly say that this brush is BETTER than the F80! Yep, I said it!
So above is the NEW 3DHD Kabuki Brush. As you can see it has somewhat of a weird shape. It has two flat sides. According to Sigma it was designed this way in order to reach all areas of the face evenly on every curve, crease and angle. Below is the exact description:
