Meet some of my favorite beauty YouTubers

Confession! I’m obsessed with watching makeup videos on YouTube! I’m subscribed to a lot of people and every time I open my YouTube app on my phone, I immediately scroll to ‘new videos’ to check out who uploaded a video. Watching these videos inspire, entertain and relax me all at the same time! 😀 Here are 5 of my favorites American beauty ‘gurus’, as they are called. I of course, have some more favorites, I will share 5 more beauty gurus in a follow-up post. Click on the links below to go directly to their pages and subscribe to their...

My current everyday makeup <3

Yesterday I showed you my makeup’s new home: the products I currently use the most (click here to see). Today I’ll show you these products in more detail. 🙂 This is the makeup that I currently use the most. I do switch it up a lot, not so much my face products (foundations and powder), but I do alternate when it comes to my blushes and eye products. Of course I don’t use everything at once. These are the basics for face, plus some options for eyes and cheeks. 🙂 ^^^ Top: Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation, Make...

How I turned a coffee spinner from TJ Maxx into a spinning makeup holder!

Yesterday I paid a visit to one of my favorite American stores ever: TJ Maxx. I had not been there for a while and I was happy to see a lot of new items. 🙂 I walked through the ‘home’ section where I spotted this coffee spinner, a tray that holds coffee essentials, like milk and sugar. I’m assuming people use it mostly in office environments. As obsessed as I am, I immediately thought of it as a makeup holder, an organizer for the makeup I use most frequent. 😀 I picked it up (it was only $5.99) and when...

Using up my free samples (one of my ’13 beauty resolutions)

Last year I accumulated quite a few makeup and skin care samples. I got these samples as freebies with my Sephora or Ulta purchases. A lot of these samples I have given away to friends and to you guys, Kizzy Online readers, as gifts. However, some of these samples I put to aside for myself, with the intention of trying them out. Either because it happens to target my skin issue(s) or simply because I’m curious about the product! That never really happened though… My sample collection keeps getting bigger and bigger… Because I don’t want it to get completely...

On My Nails: Wet n Wild Fergie and CoverGirl’s Crushed Berry (new)

Here’s my manicure of the week. 🙂 It’s actually quite of a FAIL. I wanted to try my nail Fergie polish, called Hollywood Walk of Fame. It’s the polish with all the stars that I showed in my Wet N Wild haul here. I was aiming for absurd over the top nails, but I didn’t quite work out. Wet N Wild Fergie ‘Hollywood Walk of Fame’ on top of CoverGirl Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Gloss in ‘Crushed Berry’ I used one of my new CoverGirl Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Glosses (I talked about them here). I love these new polishes....

Giveaway: win PARNEVU T-Tree hair products!

UPDATE: GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED A couple of weeks ago I reviewed three products by PARNEVU: a shampoo, a leave-in conditioner and an oil sheen. The products are all made with Australian Tea Tree Oil and are geared towards the African American market with natural or relaxed hair. They not only cleanse and moisturize the hair, but scalp too. The products promote growth, prevent hair breakage, repair split ends and eliminate dry scalp, leaving you hair healthy, vibrant and strong. If you read my review, you know that I think these products are GREAT! I still use them and I...

The finest jewelry you may find online: JewelryKind.com

People who have known me for a while know that my first love was and always will be jewelry. I started wearing jewelry long before I started wearing makeup obviously! Since I had my baby, I haven’t been wearing my jewelry much. I don’t want to scratch him with my chunky rings and at the same time I don’t want him to get a hold of my precious necklaces and bracelets either. Right now he’s at that stage that he’s grabbing everything in sight. Especially when it’s shiny. 😀 This hasn’t stopped me from checking out what’s out there though,...

Review: Goody QuikStyle Paddle Brush, it’s like a towel and a brush in one

One of the items in received in my Influenster VoxBox (see my unboxing post here) was a hair brush. Not an average hair brush though. This brush has absorbent microfiber bristles that are said to reduce water by 30% to dry faster. When I opened my VoxBox it was the first thing I grabbed and naturally the first thing I tried out! As you know I have pretty long hair (it reaches my booty), so finding faster ways to style my hair is a good thing! Below are my thoughts. Goody QuikStyle Paddle Brush: Go from wet to beautifully styled...

My favorites from the Wet & Wild Fergie collection!

A little over a week ago I showed you all the lovely lipsticks I’d hauled (I have a serious obsession with lipsticks and it’s getting worse by the day!). Click here to check out my haul. One of the lipsticks I showed you was one by Wet n Wild as part of their newest limited edition collection, called Centerstage, inspired by singer Fergie. This collection is new and can be found (only) at Walgreens. Fergie’s Centerstage display at Walgreens. Pictures from my Instagram (Kizzyonline) After using this lipstick (called Ferguson Crest Cabernet) a couple of times, I came to the...

Here’s part 2 of my 2012 favorites! Like I was saying yesterday, it was extremely hard for me to choose my favorites, since I found so many (new) products that I like last year.
