LEGO Batman Movie Days at LEGOLAND CA [our day in pictures]

Hi everyone! On February 18-19 and 25-26 LEGOLAND California hosted the LEGO Batman Movie Days and my family and I got to attend the activities! We went this past weekend and we had a blast, especially my son, who got to meet his superhero (remember Halloween at LEGOLAND, when he dressed up as Batman?). 😀 During these two weekends, LEGOLAND guests got to meet the LEGO superhero during this celebration of the Warner Bros. Pictures’ feature film, which also includes photo opportunities with the scene-stealing star, a themed scavenger hunt and LEGO Batman-inspired LEGO build activities. We loved it! We...

Our Halloween: Brick-or-Treat party night at LEGOLAND California

This year we celebrated Halloween in a big way by starting the celebrations at LEGOLAND California Resort for the Brick-or-Treat party nights, which is the BIGGEST kids’ Halloween celebration here in San Diego! Each year LEGOLAND transforms into a not-too-spooky Halloween party, where families are able to go trick-or-treating throughout the Park. The park is open every Saturday in October and this past Saturday my family and I were there! #BrickorTreat 😀 Besides the LEGO themed (of course!) ‘treat stations’ where kids to trick-or-treat for candy, there was also lots of entertainment, like a Ghost Cruise adventure, a pop-badge challenge...

Baby Kayla is here! Born on September 9, 2016

I haven’t written anything here for a while now and there’s a good reason for it…I had the baby! She was born on Friday 9/9 at the Mary Birch hospital here in San Diego. Her name is Kayla and she’s as healthy and beautiful as can be. I couldn’t be happier! Kayla made a big and quite unexpected entrance into this world, because she wasn’t due until the end of the month. I’d been having painful cramps for a couple of days, but when I went to see my doctor that Wednesday before she was born and he had told...

My baby bump at 36 weeks

Hi everyone! I’m here with another baby update! I’m 37 weeks pregnant now, which means that the baby is now full term. She is the size of a winter melon and theoretically I still have less than 3 weeks to go. A little voice inside of me is telling me that she’ll probably show up sooner… Honestly, I’m not quite ready yet, so I hope she’ll stay inside a little bit longer. 😀 These pictures were taken last week when my baby bump was 36 weeks! Also, click here to see pics of my first pregnancy when I was 36...

Guest blog: How to recognize whether you have psychic abilities

Psychic abilities have always been covered with a veil of mystery. Due to the fact that numerous people over the years have charged money for these services made it hard to believe that they are actually real. However, if you have managed to predict future events or if you felt as if you are traveling out of your body then, you know how real they actually are. Throughout the human history, there were scripts depicting people with supernatural abilities. In modern times, we like to call these individuals psychics. Oftentimes, we also refer them as highly spiritual. There were numerous...

We celebrated our toddler’s 4th birthday at LEGOLAND California Resort!

This past Sunday it was finally the day! The day our baby boy turned 4 years old. Woohoo! I still can’t believe I’m the mom of a 4-year-old. Not that long ago I was holding a tiny, little newborn in my hands…where did the time go? Mason had been looking forward to his birthday for weeks. I’ve literally lost count of the amount of times I had to hear: ‘is it my birthday yet?’ 😀 For his birthday we went to LEGOLAND California Resort in Carlsbad. None of us had ever been there, so this seemed like a great opportunity....

Guest blog: How to remain safe in a pool

According to statistics, swimming in a pool is the 3rd most popular recreational activity in USA. This is reflected by 7.4 million swimming pools in all states, whether they are of public or private ownership. No matter how fun this activity may be, it carries certain risks. Each year, approximately 50.000 people seek medical attention after pool related accidents. To make matters worse, each year 300 children die due to pool related injuries. Drowning When mentioning pools, the first negative thing that may come to your mind is risk of drowning. Even though most of the pool tragedies are connected...

Summer fun! My toddler is taking swim lessons at SafeSplash #IAmSafeSplash

One of our Summer activities has been going to the pool. There are multiple pools at our apartment complex that we’re gladly taking advantage of. Why not, right? My toddler loves to swim! If it were up to him, he would be in the pool literally every single day. And whenever we want to switch it up, there’s always the beach. There are so many nice beaches here in San Diego. It’s been almost a year that we moved (back) from Vegas to California and living by the coast is definitely something I appreciate. 🙂 Being surrounded by water means...

My wedding anniversary makeup and 29 week baby bump

Happy humpday! We’re halfway through the week, yes! I’m already looking forward to the weekend. 🙂 Hopefully it will be as good as last weekend: last Sunday my husband and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary and the fact that our baby bump is now 29 weeks old! Hard to believe that in about 11 weeks, we’ll have not 1 but 2 kids! It honestly STILL feels a little surreal… Babygirl is now 29 weeks! Celebrating our 7 year wedding anniversary (how handsome is my husband?!) On Sunday I wore ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip in Mess Around (my hubby loves...
