Review: Apollo Surprise Box (Yes, I’m back!)

18 Sep 2017

Missed me??? I know I missed you! The last couple of weeks have been super hectic. My son started Kindergarten at the very end of August and I think it’s been harder on me than on him. Transitioning to a new school, getting a new routine down, getting up early…it took a little time to adjust to it all, but I can now say that we finally getting a hang of it! And with we, I mean me. LOL!

I still can’t believe my baby is in school now. He had been going to preschool for about a year (he stopped going because of our Holland trip), but Kindergarten is a whole different ballgame! His backpack is almost bigger than him! Awww… And yes, I did cry after dropping him off on the first day. However, he LOVES it and that’s what matters.

I’ll post some pics on my Instagram over the course of the week of his first days of school. πŸ™‚

As for the blog goes…I have a ton of new things to show you and to review! I’m going to try to play catch up as much as I can.

Today’s post is all about my Apollo Surprise Box. I love subscription boxes! Apollo is the website where you can find creative and unique products: tech, lifestyle, home, beauty…it’s all there. It’s a members-online site, so you will have to create an account first.

They’ve recently come out with a custom box for every month or quarter that contains unique products tailored to your lifestyle. The subscription plans are flexible and the boxes are always shipped for free. You can cancel at any time.

I received a trial box for free the other day and it, in my case, contained 3 totally random, but fun items. πŸ˜€ The first thing I took out of the box was the Emoji Mask. Hilarious! It’s an Asian sheet mask for all skin types that is moisturizing. I’m not sure if it’s the sunglasses emoji like on the packaging. We will see! I’m gonna try it soon and post a pic on Instagram!

Another item from my box is the MB Positive Water Bottle (50cc). This is a square bottle that was designed to provide the most capacity in the least space. It’s made of Tristan plastic. I love it! I try to stay hydrated as much as I can (esp here in San Diego where it’s usually sunny), can never have enough water bottles!

The biggest thing in my Apollo Surprise box was this Moon Light. How cool is this! I love it! It’s 3D printed with eco-friendly material. You touch it to adjust the color and brightness. It’s so romantic looking. Now I can literally touch the moon every night. πŸ˜‰

Very happy with this box! These are products that I probably would never order myself, but I do like them! The people over at Apollo are offering Kizzy Online readers a discount. No, I don’t make any money off it, I’m just sharing. πŸ™‚

Add the Apollo Surprise Box to your basket and use code: “SURPRISE15” at checkout to get 15% off the first 3 months! Woohoo! This is a limited time offer. I don’t know when they will disable it, so, if you’re interested, act fast.

Products were sent to me for review purposes by Apollo. The opinions and text are all mine.
