New hair! All about those curls…
07 Jul 2017
I changed my hair again! You might remember my visit to a hair salon last year, I wrote about it here. Last week I (finally!) got to go again and this time I went for a completely different look! Here’s a ‘before’ pic….
My hair has grown a lot since then! Because I will be spending quite some time at the pool this summer, I now decided to go for a haircut that doesn’t require the use of a hair straightener. Wearing my hair the way it grows out of my head, instead of using a flat iron after every time I wash my hair, will speed up things A LOT.
This summer you’ll be seeing me with curls, curls, and some more curls. 🙂
As you can see, I went from a ‘stacked bob with long front locks’ to a completely different hairstyle. 😀 My hair is no longer long in the front. Instead, the hair stylist cut off my long locks and made the front shorter than the back. Love it!
She cut my hair dry. Cutting while the curls are doing their thing, means your stylist can pick and choose where to cut so that they lie on top one another just right. It will give your curls much more definition and shape. Consequently, this also means that I can no longer wear my hair straight because it will look uneven, which is totally fine with me.
Anyway, after she washed my hair, she applied a protein masks, which really gave my curls some life! I will go more into the products she used in a different blog post.
I’m super happy with the end result. 🙂 Check out more pics below and tell me what you think!
