I got an ipsy subscription! Here’s my Glam Bag for February
12 Feb 2017
I have finally subscribed to ipsy. After months and months of contemplating and watching everybody’s goodies on blogs and YouTube, I finally caved and got a subscription myself. I first signed up for a trial bag through my friend Sheyla from Her Cryptic Life, which really pushed me over the edge. I really liked what I’d received and for $10 a month is a pretty sweet deal! Especially if you’re into samples and trying new stuff like I am. So now I have a subscription (which I can cancel at any time, of course.) and I’m really happy with it. 🙂
If you’re not familiar with ipsy: it’s a personalised makeup and beauty sample subscription. Below is a short description from their website:
Each month, ipsy subscribers will receive a beautiful Glam Bag with deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products. Members can watch and play along with the stylists with the same products that they are using. All for only $10 a month.
When you subscribe to our Glam Bag program, each month we’ll send you 5 deluxe sample or full-sized beauty goodies (including makeup, skincare, hair care, and nail care), packed in a stylish makeup bag.
You can take advantage of special benefits we offer only to ipsters, like daily ipsy Offers (flash sales), Points rewards program, and monthly Giveaways.
The Glam Bag is only $10 a month, or $110 for an annual subscription. Shipping is free in the United States and USD $4.95 for bags shipped to Canada. I’ve received two Glam Bags so far, the February one being the latest. Below is what I got for the month of February. 🙂
Indie Lee Rosehip Cleanser
This is said to be a very mild cleanser that is packed with vitamins (like A, E, & K) and antioxidants, making it a great anti-aging option.
Seraphine Botanicals Luminude in Primrose
This is a true gold color highlighter that is made with evening primrose oil—a superstar for helping with acne, wrinkles, and eczema. It is said to melt right into your skin, the definition of ‘lit from within.’ You can mix a dab into your foundation to make it more luminous and moisturizing.
Absolute New York Nano Liner Ultra Fine Precision Liquid Liner
This eyeliner has a very skin tip and it is said to be water-, smudge-, and fade-resistant. They say the formula the formula is really richly pigmented, so you won’t have to layer it on.
Luxie Beauty Luxie Rose Gold Blush Brush 514
The bristles on this brush are vegan, synthetic, and cruelty-free. They’re super soft too. The small domed shape of this brush makes it great for applying blush or highlighter.
So all of this and a makeup bag for just $10! I’m excited! 😀 Can’t wait to try all of these products. I’ll let you know my thoughts in a separate post. For more information on ipsy, or to sign up, click here.
