Review: Head & Shoulders Green Apple Shampoo

05 Dec 2016

It’s been really busy this past week, guys. Having a toddler and a baby sure does take up a lot of time. I haven’t even had time to properly do my hair after I wash it. Instead of straightening my hair with a flat iron, like I usually do, I’ve been doing a so-called ‘wash-and-go’. Wash-and-go simply means I’ve been washing my hair and letting it air-dry. I have naturally curly hair, so that’s what I’ve been rocking. The picture below is my hubby and I on Thanksgiving. 🙂

My hair has been looking beautiful. Not to toot my own horn and sound overly confident, but I’ve been really loving and embracing my curls lately. I think that has a lot to do with cutting my hair short (it’s healthy, no dead ends in sight) and the hair products I’ve been using. I’ve been keeping it really simple, yet it’s been looking really good. Very low maintenance!

Head & Shoulders Green Apple Shampoo #ShampooSecret

I’ve been using the Head & Shoulders Green Apple Shampoo that my toddler and I received in the mail. I happen to love the scent of green apple (very refreshing) and I’ve had really good experience with Head & Shoulders in the past. It’s clinically proven that Head & Shoulders provides relief for even the toughest of dandruff, but it also cleans, protects and moisturizes your hair. Head & Shoulders believes that great hair starts at the scalp. Whether you suffer from occasional dandruff or everyday scalp stress (product overuse, sweat, overstyling), Head & Shoulders can be your everyday hair care hero.

I tried it out that same evening we received it and I’ve been using it ever since. 🙂 It cleanses really well and makes my hair really soft, making detangling really easy. My hair has been really shiny (but not oily) and healthy looking. My scalp hasn’t been itching and I haven’t had any flakes either. All because of this affordable product! Who said good hair care had to be expensive?

The main active ingredient in this shampoo is pyrithione zinc, which has been proven in hundreds of clinical trials to get rid of dandruff when used regularly. The product doesn’t smell like chemicals though. It has a crisp, clean green apple scent. More details below.

Here are some of the products features I like:

• 100% flake free hair that smells fresh all day long. With regular use, it removes up to 94% of dandruff irritants
• The world’s most tested and most trusted dandruff shampoo
• Gentle on hair and pH balanced for daily use, even on color or chemically treated hair
• Fights dandruff with the great scent of green apple, leaving hair smelling great
• Helps keep hair healthy, shiny and smooth
