Inside my November PLAY! by SEPHORA box #sephoraplay
21 Nov 2016
Happy Monday, everyone! Hope you had a good one. I planned on posting this in the weekend, but of course my plan didn’t work out. The weekend is when we try to do something fun with Mason and having your mom being inside behind her laptop on a sunny day is not my toddler’s idea of having fun. So no blog this weekend.
I did, however, receive my PLAY! box on Saturday, which was exciting! I had already seen other’s people pictures on Instagram, so I knew what to expect. Like last month’s, it’s a good one!
PLAY! by SEPHORA is their monthly subscription box that’s $10 per month. It contains 5 deluxe samples and a fragrance sample from brands that Sephora carries in their stores. These samples always arrive in a cute bag that you can use as a makeup bag. What’s also cool is that every month you are send a PLAY! PASS that you can redeem in-store for a free one-on-one tutorial and 50 bonus Beauty Insider points with any product purchase during the same store visit.
November 2016 PLAY! by SEPHORA
This month’s box has the theme: Best in Glow.
• MAISON MARGIELA ’REPLICA’ Lipstick On: Intimate and sophisticated, this delicate fragrance evokes the airy, powdery scent of vintage makeup (this month’s fragrance).
• SEPHORA COLLECTION Ultra Shine Lip Gel: Hydrating, glossy lip gel visibly plumps lips with a lustrous sheen and always-flattering hot pink hue.
• CAUDALIE Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet: Rejuvenating and lightweight, this luscious gel-cream hydrates and softens skin while visibly calming redness and congestion.
• LAURA MERCIER Caviar Stick Eye Colour Multipurpose, high-pigment eyeshadow stick glides on and blends easily for transfer-proof, all-day wear.
• GLAMGLOW THIRSTYMUD Hydrating Treatment: Hydrating mask moisturizes and calms skin for a dewy, petal-soft complexion.
• COVER FX Illuminating Primer: Glow-inducing, silicone-free primer preps skin with a light-reflecting mineral complex and helps eliminate dullness.
I love it! I’m especially excited for the Glamgow mask (I’ve had a sample before, it’s great) and Laura Mercier’s Caviar Stick, which I’ve read great reviews on.
Even though I’ve been pretty much happy with every box I’ve received since I signed up, I’m contemplating on ending my SEPHORA PLAY! subscription at the end of the year. Just because next year I plan to go on a definite ‘low-buy’ in order to finish all the products (and samples) I have at home. What do you think? Should I cancel it or no?
