Our Halloween: Brick-or-Treat party night at LEGOLAND California
01 Nov 2016
This year we celebrated Halloween in a big way by starting the celebrations at LEGOLAND California Resort for the Brick-or-Treat party nights, which is the BIGGEST kids’ Halloween celebration here in San Diego! Each year LEGOLAND transforms into a not-too-spooky Halloween party, where families are able to go trick-or-treating throughout the Park. The park is open every Saturday in October and this past Saturday my family and I were there! #BrickorTreat 😀
Besides the LEGO themed (of course!) ‘treat stations’ where kids to trick-or-treat for candy, there was also lots of entertainment, like a Ghost Cruise adventure, a pop-badge challenge through Fun Town, a theater show in Castle Hill and a fall festival complete with a LEGO pumpkin patch building activity.
Walking around LEGOLAND at night, surrounded by nothing but colorful lights, (not-too) spooky LEGO Halloween decorations and happy people…there’s something about it! Mason, who is 4, loved it. He enjoyed everything he saw and was especially trilled to still be able to go on a few rides, despite of everything that was going on. Kayla, who’s almost 2 months now, slept through most of it, but I’m sure next year she’ll be just as excited!
Check out a few of our pictures below. 🙂
We’re definitely going next year again! The Brick-or-Treat Party Nights are a fun, not-too-spooky and, last but not least, safe way to celebrate Halloween with young kids. For more pictures of our Halloween this year (we of course went trick-or-treating on Monday!), check out my instagram.
If you’re not familiar with LEGOLAND California: it’s located in Carlsbad, right next to San Diego where I live. It’s open daily during Spring and Summer and select days during Fall and Winter. SEA LIFE Aquarium is open daily year-round. You can see our other #LEGOLANDCA adventures here.

I’m an official LEGOLAND insider and received complimentary #BrickorTreat tickets.
