My skincare routine: L’Oreal Revitalift Bright Reveal (drugstore)
07 Oct 2016
Hi everyone! Happy Friday! I’m here to share with you which products I’m currently using on my skin. It’s been a while since I last went over my skincare routine, so I thought it was time.
I’m actually currently on a mission to use up most, if not all, the makeup and skincare samples I have. I’m also not buying anything new (limited edition makeup excepted) until the end of the year. This decision sounds hard for someone who’s so much into beauty like I am, but actually…it’s not. I’ve done something like this before (last year, I believe) and after putting everything together that I currently own and seeing how much it is… I know it’s time to use this stuff up! Of course, as a blogger, I do occasionally receive samples from companies to try. I will continue trying these out, especially when I suspect they are really good, or when they’re new in store or just because I feel like they’re interesting enough to share.
So on to my current skincare routine! I’ve been using the newest skincare collection by L’Oreal Paris, called L’Oreal Revitalift Bright Reveal. The keyword in this collection is definitely ‘bright’. 🙂
Formulated with Glycolic Acid, Pro-Retinol and Vitamin C, this revolutionary, dermatologist-inspired skincare regimen works as a complete regimen to reveal brighter, refreshed skin.
The products in this line are all developed to improve skin brightness, reduce wrinkles and uneven skin tone. They contain Glycolic acid and pro-retinol which help boost skin rejuvenation, reduce discoloration by exfoliating your skin and minimize the appearance of wrinkles. The day and night moisturizer in this collection contain Vitamin C as well, which helps brighten skin.
I hadn’t used any skincare products from the drugstore in a while, and, to be honest, I wasn’t expecting that much from this collection prior to trying them. I am happy to report that I am pleasantly surprised! After about 30 days of use my skin does look more bright and my acne scars and pores are less visible.
Below is a breakdown of the products:
This is the Brightening Daily Scrub Cleanser ($6.99), which is a foaming cleanser. It has glycolic acid and vitamin C, plus natural volcanic particles and hydrating glycerin.
The Bright Reveal Brightening Peel Pads ($19.99) gently exfoliate dead skin cells to help renew the skin surface layer. This daily use pad contains 10% glycolic to gently resurface dull, uneven tone and rough texture.
The Brightening Dual Overnight Moisturizer ($19.99) is L’Oréal Paris’ first solution that works to brighten skin while targeting the appearance of wrinkles and uneven skin tone.
The Brightening Day Moisturizer with Broad Spectrum SPF 30 ($19.99) is a daily moisturizer that, like I mentioned, also has glycolic acid, vitamin C and Pro-Retinol. It also has Broad Spectrum SPF 30 that helps protect your skin against skin-aging UVA and UVB rays.
Where to buy
The new L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Bright Reveal collection is available at most drugstores, grocery stores and mass retailers. I definitely recommend these products if you’re on the market for new skincare and you don’t want to spend a lot of money! For more info, check out the L’Oreal Paris website. I’ve received these products for free in exchange for an unbiased review. #GotItFree
