Review and swatches: BECCA Luminous Blush (all 6!)

16 May 2016

See all these beautiful, luminous blushes? I swear, this is the best package I’ve received so far! I was literally squealing with excitement when opening the box. Hihi! So much so that my 3-year-old had to ask me if ‘everything was ok’. 😀

The BECCA brand screams luxury to me, everything is just so beautiful! I already own a couple of their products: the Ever-Matte Shine Proof Foundation and matching primer, and, of course, the popular Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector in ‘Champagne Pop’. All beautiful products that, to be honest, I only use for special occasions, because I don’t want to run out. Yes, I’m perfectly aware of how silly that sounds…

I was sent 6 of BECCA’s newest Luminous Blushes, all inspired by the popular Shimmering Skin Perfector, which are their (liquid) highlighters.

BECCA’s Shimmering Skin Perfector Luminous Blush features multi-dimensional, versatile blushes to create a subtle, shimmering flush. Specially designed to flatter all skin tones, this collection is inspired by the fan favorite Shimmering Skin Perfector—just the right balance of color and light. Wear them alone for subtle blushed luminosity, or as a blush topper layered on top of your favorite matte blush for an added pop of radiance.

BECCA claims that these blushes let your cheeks glow with light and I have to admit… she’s right! 🙂 I’ve been using these blushes religiously for a couple of weeks now and I have nothing bad to say about these, other than the high price tag.

The Luminous Blush is a very pretty blush that give you a gorgeous, natural looking sheen without being too shiny or overpowering. It’s easy to apply (goes on smooth and is easy to blend), very pigmented and long lasting, even on my oily skin. I’m very impressed!

Below are swatches on my arm. Keep in mind, my skin is caramel-toned (NC45 in MAC) and these all show up perfectly. I believe they will look pretty on every skin tone.

I really can’t tell you which one is my favorite, because I love them all! It really depends on the rest of my makeup and my mood. 🙂

You can find these Luminous blushes on BECCA’s website, in Sephora stores and on Sephora’s website. They are $34 each (0.21 oz) and worth every penny. Splurge if you can! And if you can’t right now, wait for a (Sephora) sale. They’re worth it!

I received these products in exchange for an honest review.
