My favorite products by IT Cosmetics – and a few not so favorites
19 Apr 2016
Happy Tuesday! 🙂 Today’s post is one that I’ve been planning on doing for a long time. This is the first of my ‘best of’ series, in which I tell you my one-brand favorites! Which products of a particular brand are worth getting? And which one(s) are not?
Of course I have to start with my favorites from IT Cosmetics, since this brand has been one of my favorite high-end brands for a while now. I love that they consistently keep come out with new products that are really good! I do have to state that, as a blogger, I receive a lot of products for free, also from IT Cosmetics. However, there are quite a few of their products that I love so much that I have (re)purchased them myself.
I picked these items, because they’re not just makeup: IT Cosmetics does a great job at combining makeup with skincare. They use good and effective ingredients, no parabens, they work with dermatologists and plastic surgeons and don’t test on animals. I’m not going to dwell too long on each product though, because I don’t want to make this post too long. But if you’d like a more detailed review on anything, just let me know. 🙂
TOP: Your Skin but Better CC Cream with SPF 50+
BOTTOM: CC+ Cream Illumination SPF 50+
These are full coverage color correcting creams, anti-Aging serums and SPF 50+ in one. Even though they are CC creams, they cover like a regular foundation. The Illumination one at the bottom is essentially the same product, except it’s enhanced with their ‘Drops of Light Technology’ to give your skin the look of subtle radiance (very subtle, definitely not glittery or over the top).
LEFT: Bye Bye Makeup 3-in-1 Makeup Melting Balm
RIGHT: Confidence in a Cream
Bye Bye Makeup is a cleanser, makeup remover and anti-aging serum all in one step and it works like a charm, removes most of my makeup and doesn’t irritate or dry out my skin.
Confidence in a Cream is a moisturizer that deeply hydrates, restores radiance and reduces the look of pores, uneven texture and discoloration. I’ve been using at night.
LEFT: Bye Bye Pores Pressed
RIGHT: Bye Bye Pores Blush in ‘Naturally Pretty’
BOTTOM: Vitality Cheek Flush Powder Blush Stain in ‘Matte Sweet Apple’
Bye Bye Pores Pressed is an anti-aging finishing powder that erases the appearance of your pores and fine lines. Bye Bye Pores Blush has the same anti-aging ingredients and blurring effect, love it! The Vitality Cheek Flush Blush on the right is an anti-aging powder blush Stain that is more hydrating.
LEFT: Live, Love, Laugh Vitality Face Disc
RIGHT: CC+ Radiance Palette
The Vitality Brightening Anti-Aging Face Disk contains 3 products: a waterproof anti-aging matte bronzer, a brightening blush tint and a radiance illuminator. The CC+ Radiance Palette also has 3 pans: a CC+ brightening powder, CC+ matte blush and CC+ matte bronzer. Every single shade work for me, so I like to bring these with me when I’m traveling of just away for the weekend.
LEFT: CC+ Lip Serum
MIDDLE: Vitality Lip Flush 4-in-1 Reviver Lipstick Stain
RIGHT: CC+ Blurred Lines Smooth Fill Lipstick
IT Cosmetics lip products are treats for your lips. Really, they are! They feel so luxurious and moisturizing. Love them! The Vitality Lip Flush, for example, is a lippie that gives your lips a pretty flush (the shade is different for everybody) and at the same time is anti-aging, hydrating and conditioning, like a balm. It’s also a long-wear stain that doesn’t dry out lips. It’s very unique!
LEFT: Bye Bye Under Eye Anti-Aging Concealer
MIDDLE: CC+ Eye Physical SPF 50 Color Correcting Concealer
RIGHT: Bye Bye Under Eye Waterproof Full Coverage Anti-aging Concealer
Bye Bye Under Eye is an anti-aging, full coverage treatment concealer. It comes in a regular version and a waterproof version – pictured on the far left and far right. Both have the same anti-aging ingredients (Hydro-Collagen, Vitamins C & K). I, however, prefer the waterproof version, because I’ve noticed that the regular version creases much faster on me. I therefore wouldn’t recommend the regular version. There’s also the CC+ Eye that’s even better: it’s a full coverage concealer, anti-aging serum, moisturizing eye cream, eye brightening serum, skin perfecting primer, color corrector and it has SPF 50 UVA/UVB sunscreen. Works really well!
TOP: Brow Power Universal Brow Pencil
BOTTOM: SUPERHERO Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara
The Brow Power brow pencil is supposed to match all hair colors. Unfortunately, on me it doesn’t work at all. My brows are really dark (almost black) and on my this pencil is more taupe. Too bad, because, like every other product by IT Cosmetics, this too has great ingredients: it not only fills in and shapes your brows, it also has brow-conditioning ingredients. The SUPERHERO mascara, however, is amazing! It gives me both volume & length. I have a full review coming up on it soon. 🙂
Woohaaa! This was a long post, wasn’t it? Thanks for reading, hope it was helpful! You can find my favorites on ITcosmetics.com and some are also available on QVC.
Which brand should I do next?
