Unboxing my Influenster Marc Jacobs VoxBox! #velvetnoir

30 Dec 2015

When I told you to sign up for Influenster, I wasn’t kidding! The boxes they sent me keep getting better and better! This time around I received the Marc Jacobs VoxBox and I was so excited to get it! So far everything I’ve liked everything I tried from Marc Jacobs (available at Sephora). I use their Highliner Gel Crayon Gel on a daily basis on my waterline and I also have a couple of lip glosses that are favorites. So when I opened the box, I couldn’t help but squeal. 😀

It’s the Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara! Full-size! How cool is this? This mascara is said to be an ultra-volumizing mascara that delivers instant dimension for epic lashes. According to Marc Jacobs ‘Velvet Noir’ gives you the thickest lashes in one sweep. ‘Experience ultimate volume and the look of thick, false lashes with Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara’.

Velvet Noir is inspired by Marc Jacobs’s first beauty memory of his mother carefully shaving fibers from a velvet ribbon to create her own couture faux lashes. Thanks so much, Marc Jacobs and Influenster! I reeeallly appreciate it. 🙂

Of course I’ve been using it since the moment I opened this box, which was last week. With the exception of a few other high-end mascaras (mostly deluxe samples, let’s be honest!), I’ve only used drugstore mascaras. So I’m curious to see how this expensive mascara compares. It’s $26 at Sephora, so it needs to work well, right? We’ll see!

I’ll be writing my review soon and I’ll share how it applies, how much length and volume it gives my lashes and I’ll also let you know my thoughts on the brush. I’ll be sure to include before and after pictures. 🙂

Join Influenster, if you haven’t yet by signing up (here). You’ll receive some good stuff to review!

I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review. Link used is a referral link.
