I’m back in the US with new hair: short and spicy!

14 Aug 2015

I took a little break from the blog, but I’m back! There has been some changes. I’m a year older now (my birthday was on August 9), I’m back in the US after being in The Netherlands for a couple of months and there’s something else that’s new… I cut my hair! I was tired of having long hair and I wanted something new. No more Pocahontas!

Here’s my before picture, in case you’ve forgotten how I looked like. πŸ˜€

I’ve had long hair for years (since high school), so this is a big thing for me! I now have what they call a ‘long bob’. It’s not long but it’s not that short either. It’s cut somewhat blunt and just above my shoulders. I really like it! I think it looks very ‘chic’. It’s also easier to style than longer hair. Below are some pictures I took at the salon. Shout out to Hair salon ‘Lucinda’ in Rotterdam!

I should have kept it to donate, right? Totally forgot πŸ™

I liked it!

Hair after

A good blow-dry is everything! My hairdresser really knows how to blow dry curly hair straight. It’s a gift!

Here’s my attempt at taking another after picture on my birthday. As you can see, it didn’t go well. The wind at the beach didn’t let me be great. Oops! πŸ˜€

Let me know if you like it or not.
Also, I have a lot of stuff to write about (got some new clothes, new makeup and lots more), so stay tuned!
