Play! By Sephora launching soon, Sephora’s very own subscription beauty box

07 Aug 2015

Hi everyone! It’s the weekend! I’m starting off my Saturday by posting about my absolute favorite store: Sephora. We all know that Sephora in the US is already the place to go for samples. I also love their Beauty Insider program, Sephora Flash and their flexible return policy. They also have testers of every single products in the store, which makes it a great way to try new products or shades without the commitment. And now, you can get deluxe samples delivered to you for $10 every month… I love it! Details below. 🙂

Play Sephora Play! subscription beauty box

Women’s Wear Daily reports that the beauty chain is testing out a subscription service to compete with companies like Birchbox and Ipsy. Play! By Sephora will start in Boston, Columbus, and Cincinnati this September, and expand next year. Each box will cost $10 a month and feature a collection of products, plus a few bonuses like Spotify playlists.

The first box (spoiler alert!) contains products from Marc Jacobs, Ole Henriksen, Bumble and bumble, Glamglow and Sephora’s in-house brand. Each month will have a theme, like skincare or cosmetics, and each box will have a few bonus samples thrown in as well. Subscribers can also show up at any Sephora store to learn how to use the samples and will get access to exclusive events.

I think the $10 price tag is a great deal! Especially since you know Sephora will always include high-end products. What do you think?
