My 5 favorite blushes for Summer: KIKO, BECCA, MAC, Tarte and Catrice

17 Jul 2015

Happy Friday! I’m SO ready for the weekend. Are you? Today I’ll be talking about the thing I like almost just as much lipstick: blush. 🙂 I’m showing you my current favorite blushes. As you can see in the picture above: my preference goes out to pink and peach blushes. Especially in the Summer when my skin is more tan/golden.

I also prefer a blush to be matte and with a soft sheen. I absolutely do not like shimmer, because of my large pores. I also like it to have a somewhat dry formula and be long-wearing, because I have oily skin and most blushes disappear after an hour or two. The ones I’m showing you below are pretty long-wearing, pigmented and don’t emphasize my pores!

My absolute favorite blush is the one by Becca. It is just beautiful! It’s a peachy-pink shade with golden highlights. I have a review on it, which you can find here.

The blush that surprised me the most is the one by Kiko. I wasn’t familiar with Kiko blushes at all when I bought it and I was happily surprised! The shade 107 ‘Tomato’ is super pretty! It’s matte, really pigmented and long-lasting. I definitely want to pick up some more.

Here are swatches of all 5 blushes on bare skin. I took multiple pictures in different lighting, so you get a better picture.

Do you wear blush in the Summer? I do, even when it’s really hot. I feel naked if I don’t!
