Vitamin C has been said to:

– Reduce the appearance of brown spots and other types of sun damage
– Helps boost healthy collagen production (hello, firmer skin!)
– Reduce inflammation and irritation, both of which cause a cascade of damage

– Increase the effectiveness of your sunscreens and boosts your skins defense against UV exposure

Other effective forms of Vitamin C are Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Retinyl Ascorbate, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate and Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate. When you’re checking out ingredient lists, look out for Ascorbic Acid or any of these mentioned!

How I use it:
I have been using this Vitamin C Serum for a little while now. It contains no parabens, no sulfates, no gluten, no alcohol and no phthalates. This serum is 98% natural, 72% organic and 100% plant based. Like I mentioned before: I’ve been loving Vitamin C serums and have used several other brands in the past. I prefer this one by the New Radiance Naturals, because there is no scent and it doesn’t leave a greasy feeling on my skin. It’s watery and get absorbs into my skin easily. I apply it at night and I use about 6 drops each time.
It’s not irritating, does not feel like it’s drying out my skin or making it oilier. I feel like the fine lines around my eyes (oh, how I hate them!) are less visible, my acne scars are almost all gone and my face definitely looks brighter, like it’s ‘glowing’ from within. Like I said, I have tried several brands of Vitamin C Serum and this one is is my favorite because of its consistency and effectiveness. It’s also pretty affordable.

Where to buy:
