A Week of Favorites! In my hair: Pro Naturals Moroccan Argan Oil

25 Aug 2014

I’m back!!! I had some major issues with my laptop and wasn’t able to get on it for almost a month. It simply didn’t turn on anymore… Because I was traveling, I couldn’t get it fixed right away, it was a sad period in my life, I’m not even kidding. LOL! Luckily I’m back in the US now (I was in The Netherlands, as you probably know) and my hubby fixed it for me (bless him!), so I’m back!
Because it’s been a while since my last post, I decided to do another ‘Week of Favorites‘. I’ve done these series before. It’s basically me showing you which products I’ve been using and loving lately and why. I’ll be posting these every day this week. Some of these items were sent to me, but as always, this is my honest opinion and I’m not getting paid to share any of these with you! :-)

Pro Naturals Moroccan Argan Oil

I’ll start with what I’ve been putting in my hair, which has definitely been a favorite! If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I’ve recently gotten a haircut, I posted a picture. Not a drastic haircut, just the ends and a little bit more. It did make a BIG difference in how my hair looks. It looks much healthier now, much more alive. In order to keep it that way, I started using a new, daily product: Pro Naturals Moroccan Argan Oil.

I’ve used Argan oil in my hair in the past (there was a time that everybody and their grandma used Argan oil in their hair!) and what I noticed back then is that there is a difference in brands/Argan oils. Some oils are better (more pure?) than others. Below are my thoughts on this particular oil. And…I’m also giving a bottle away! I’ll tell you more about the giveaway in a separate post. :-)

What it is:
*Leave-in treatment gently smooths the cuticles and helps fortify hair that is prone to breaking and split ends.
*Helps strengthen the hair that’s prone to breakage, splitting or snapping off.
*Gently smoothes the hair and form a protective mist on surface, against heat damage.
*Reduces friction from brushing and helps prevent further damage.
*Leaves hair healthy, shiny and resilient.
*Provides heat protection against electric hair tools.

My thoughts:
I have to admit..I’d forgotten how good Moroccan Argan oil is for my hair!! This is truly a ‘miracle oil’, as some people call it. Especially if your hair is like mine: frizzy, dry and most likely damaged, because I flat iron it regularly. Argan oil is actually one of the few things that really, really works for my hair. I had used it in the past, loved it, but then moved on to something else (cause, you know, I love trying new things!). Then I totally forgot about it.

When I received a bottle of this oil by Pro Naturals, I remembered how much I had loved it before! I know from experience that some oils are more moisturizing than others, this particular one by Pro Naturals is the real deal. My hair gets really dry regularly on its own and this stuff fixes that immediately without making my scalp flakey (hate that!) or getting sticky. It’s a nice, smooth oil and it smells nice. It comes in a nice, luxurious looking bottle with a dropper, which is super handy! No spilling and you get exactly the amount you need (which isn’t a lot).
If you have dry, brittle, frizzy or overworked hair, give Moroccan Argan Oil a shot! I’m pretty sure you’ll love it too. :-)
