Simple recently conducted a survey that polled women in 40 major US cities on their skincare habits. The survey revealed a surprising truth: most of these women don’t realize how their everyday city lifestyle can make skin sensitive. They don’t know that the wear and tear their everyday lifestyle may be having on the health and appearance of their skin.

What also stood out for me was the fact that more than a quarter (27%) of women in top U.S. cities report that the longest they’ve gone without washing their face is at least two days! This is kind of distributing to me. I can’t imagine not washing my face for two days straight! From pollution to sun to stress, city life is harsh on skin.

I don’t know about you, but lack of sleep immediately gives me dark circles. And let’s not forget about cold, wind and dehydration! All these things together can be very harsh on your skin. I myself have sensitive skin, but also have very oily skin. If I don’t wash my face twice every day (in the evening, but also in the morning!) the pores on my face will get blocked, causing ugly breakouts. Not washing my face for at least two days while living in a big city? No Ma’am!

Simple makes implementing a cleansing regimen a cinch with gentle yet effective facial cleansers and wipes to remove grime and dirt that can clog pores and cause irritation. Its cleansers, moisturizers, wipes and eye care products are kind to skin. They contain no dyes, artificial perfumes or harsh irritants that can upset skin. The Simple range, which helps women achieve natural, healthy-looking skin, also contains added vitamins and skin-loving ingredients.

Simple Skincare encourages women to care for their skin from the inside out with a holistic approach. This includes the right facial products and regimen, but also lifestyle considerations like diet, fitness and stress management.
