Inexpensive drugstore products that are AWESOME!

16 Apr 2014

Yesterday on Instagram I posted a picture of the Max & More Liquid Eyeliner from Action (a store here in the Netherlands) that I got for just €0.79 (about $1.10, I kid you not!). I’ve been testing it out all this week, so I can write a review for you guys soon to let you know if it’s worth all this money. LOL! By the way, if you’re on Instagram and you’re not following me, what are you waiting for? My username is ‘Kizzyonline’.

I think this eyeliner is the cheapest makeup item I’ve ever reviewed! 79 cents! So this got me thinking: what other cheap makeup have I reviewed for my blog in the past and do I still like them? I browsed through my archive and found 4 products that were cheap and that I still use to this day! Check them out below. I also included the link to the reviews I’ve written on these products. :-)

Catrice Made to Stay Long Lasting Eyeshadow, €3.49 (about $4.82), my review. This is a cream eye shadow that is long lasting, pigmented, very shimmery, easy to blend and beautiful! Great to use as a base or on its own. It reminds me of Maybelline’s Color Tattoos. This shade here is ‘Metall of Honor’, a gorgeous copper.

Hard Candy Glamoflauge Heavy Duty Concealer, $6.00 (about €4.35), my review. I have it in the color ‘tan’ and it’s highly, highly pigmented. It’s probably the most pigmented concealer I own. This can pretty much cover anything you don’t want other people to see! It’s really concentrated and does a great job of covering my dark circles!

Essence All About Matt Fixing Compact Powder, €2.99 (about $4.10), my review. I have oily skin and this powder does a great job at temporarily getting rid of the shine without ‘messing up’ my foundation and blush. No white cast or irritation. Great compact for in your purse and definitely inexpensive!

Essence ‘Stay With Me’ Long-Lasting Lipgloss, €1.99 (about $2.29), my review. This is a very pigmented lipgloss, feels great on my lips (not sticky, soft, moisturizing and creamy) and smells great (sweet, but not overpowering). My favorite shade is I Like Cotton Candy (pic at the bottom), a pretty lavender pink. Not long-lasting unfortunately, but still lovely, definitely for its price.

Have you tried any of these yet? Let me know in the comments. :-)
