Nicki Minaj‘s real hair (again!)

Nicki Minaj‘s real hair (again!)
17 Feb 2014

I’m jetlagged! *cry face* I’m sleepy during the day and at night I can’t sleep. So annoying :-( I know I will feel better in a couple of days, but for now it’s pretty irritating. While not being able to sleep at night like a normal person I get bored, so I’ve been browsing the internet on my phone in bed… I especially love reading celebrity news and gossip sites, it’s my guilty pleasure!

So I was checking out the gossip news in the fashion section of TheGossipBlog last night, where I spotted pictures of Nicki Minaj’s real hair. Because I was quite impressed with how her natural hair looks and how long it is, I decided to share one of the pics with you guys (see below). We all know that a lot of celebrities wear a lot of weaves, wigs or extensions that mess up their real hair. I’ve never worn fake hair, but I can imagine that it can be brutal to your natural hair.

Nicki Minaj shows off real hair: ‘No perm. No extensions’

Back in March of last year Nicki posted this picture of her Instagram, this was the second time she revealed her real hair. She then promised to wear it out when it would touch her ass. She added the hashtags: #LongHairDontCare #HangTime #ImaWearItOutWhenItTouchesMyASS I guess the time has come!

In the photos, Nicki is wearing a basic white T-shirt and holds her hair in a sleek ponytail. You can see one of the pics above. Since we all know her natural hair is curly, I think for this occasion she had her hair straightened. I think it looks great! Pretty long and not damaged at all. Pretty impressive for someone who’s always wearing crazy wigs. Go, Nicki! To be honest, I wish she would wear her hair natural (just flat ironed maybe, like in these pics) all the time.

What do you think of Nicki Minaj’s real hair? And what do you think of this trend of celebrities jumping on the ‘natural’ bandwagon and feeling like they need to post pics of their real hair?
