On my lips: CoverGirl Eternal lipstick (a dupe for RiRi Hearts MAC Pleasure Bomb)
14 Jan 2014
Yes, I own Pleasure Bomb lipstick from the MAC Hearts RiRi collection (you can peep my RiRi lipstick collection here), but I haven’t used it yet. I haven’t even swatched it! And I maybe I never will… At least not until I find a backup. It’s way too pretty and way too rare!
The MAC mua (makeup artist) at my local Nordstrom applied Pleasure Bomb on my lips a couple of days after it came out and I fell on love. Luckily I had already ordered it over the phone and it was in transit to my house, because at this point the collection was already sold out in the store (they sold everything in less than 10 min), but she still had the tester that came with the display. It’s a gorgeous color!
I was happy to see people mention this dupe by CoverGirl (pictured above) A dupe is a product that’s similar or almost similar. The CoverGirl lippie is called Eternal and you can find it at the drugstore. Even though the finish is a little different, Eternal has a little shine to it, Pleasure Bomb, is matte. They are very close in shade though: the same beautiful fuchsia.
I purchased CoverGirl’s Eternal about a week ago and I’ve been loving it. It’s long-lasting, but not drying or anything. In fact, I love it so much that I don’t see myself grabbing for Pleasure Bomb or having to find a backup! Awesome!

So…do you think I’m crazy for not wanting to touch Pleasure Bomb? 😀
