My Beauty Wish List (July 2013)

28 Jul 2013

Every now and then I share my beauty wish list with you. These are some items that are currently in my online Sephora beauty bag. I’ll probably won’t be purchashing any time soon, because they’re all very pricey: all these products together would cost me $200… It doesn’t hurt to look, right? A girl can only dream. lol

Wish List beauty makeup wishlist

1) Peter Thomas Roth 20th Anniversary Kit
A limited-edition five-piece kit to celebrate Peter Thomas Roth’s 20th anniversary.

This set contains:
– 8.5 oz Anti-Aging Cleansing Gel
– 0.5 oz Max Sheer All Day Moisture Defense Lotion Oil-Free SPF 30
– 0.25 oz Laser-Free Resurfacing Eye Serum
– 0.34 oz Camu Camu Power C x 30â„¢ Vitamin C Brightening Serum
– 0.5 oz FirmX Peeling Gel

These are mini’s of skin care items that I’ve heard so much about and I can’t wait to try! Peter Thomas Roth’s skin care is said to be BOMB, so I’m super curious. I’m especially lemming to try the Peeling Gel. Cost: $35.00

2) Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation Mattifying Oil Free
A breakthrough liquid-to-powder foundation formula that absorbs oil, camouflages imperfections, and delivers a long-lasting, velvet-matte finish.

This high-tech foundation incorporates cashmere kaolinite clay, which offers exceptional oil absorption—absorbing 75 percent of its weight in sebum while retaining the skin’s natural moisture. The oil-free, humidity-proof, and water-resistant formula transforms instantly from liquid to powder creating an all-day finish that camouflages imperfections and never looks dull or flat.

I’ve actually been testing a this foundation for a couple of days now (I have samples of it, my shade is ‘chestnut’) and this is THE foundation of all foundations! No joke! This is great for people with oily skin. It’s a liquid foundation that turns into powder. It’s the best foundation I’ve seen and I can’t wait to get my hands on the full size. The downside: it’s so expensive, a bottle contains 1 fl. oz and costs $55.00. *cry face*

3) Philosophy Total Matteness Pore-Minimizing & Mattifying Cleanser Mask
A multitasking cleanser and mask that absorbs oil and minimizes shine for a smooth-touch finish.

This skin-soothing formula performs double duty as a deep daily cleanser and a weekly purifying mask. Glacial clay helps unclog and reduce the appearance of enlarged, dark pores and the gentle foam leaves a totally matte, smooth complexion.

This is something I’ve recently discovered. One of my favorite Dutch beauty bloggers Serena from beautylab.nl wrote a review about it. She has oily skin like I do and was raving about this cleanser mask. Now I wanna try. 😀 Costs: $25.00

4) Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment
A dual-action exfoliation method

This signature formula works both physically and enzymatically to deliver safe, dramatic results in one application. It effectively combats acne and blackheads, reduces discoloration, and polishes skin for a smooth complexion. Welcome to healthy skin, a healthy glow, and a healthy you.

One of my girlfriend keeps mentioning this exfoliator. She says it’s gentle, but still VERY effective. I’m a little bit of an exfoliator junkie, so I think I need this in my bathroom. 😉 It’s expensive, $85.00 for just 0.5 oz.

Any of you tried any of these products? Please share your experience!
