There are TONS of new items in the drugstores right now and I thought it would be helpful to share what I consider ‘hot new items’. Below is my selection.
• Love Revlon’s Lip Butter? They’ve added new shades
Revlon added 4 new shades of Lip Butters in the permanent Revlon display. The shades are:
Juicy Papaya, Sorbet, Fresh Watermelon and Pink Lemonade. You can see which colors I already own and love here. I haven’t seen these yet myself, but I’m not sure if I will be picking up any. I think I currently have enough lip products…

• Remember Vidal Sassoon? It’s back in the drugstore
The NEW Vidal Sassoon Pro Series features a collection of shampoos, conditioners, styling products and hair color. All new products and all new packaging. I’m curious about their permanent hair colors. Actually, I’m thinking about dyeing my hair jet black (again). In fact, I’m thinking about cutting my hair too (shock face!).

• New Maybelline ColorSensational Lipsticks: Vivids
New, creamy and most importantly BRIGHT lipsticks by Maybelline. Be sure to click here for my review on these. My favorite shades are 905 Brazen Berry and 900 Hot Plum. Like the other shades, they are very pigmented and I think these particular ones will look pretty on every woman of color.

• New foundation and powder by Revlon: Nearly Naked
Revlon came out with two new products recently: the Nearly Naked foundation with SPF 20 and a pressed powder with the same name. The liquid foundation retails for about $9.99 and contains 1.0 oz. There are sixteen foundation shades, ranging from very fair to deep. I’m curious! I wonder if it’s anything like Urban Decay ‘Naked’ foundation… My only pet peeve? The bottle doesn’t have a pump!

• Shine Caresse Glosses by L’Oreal
I promised to do a full review on these after I posted my first impression and swatches post (check it out here). I am still planning on doing this, but for now I can be short and sweet: I LOVE these! They’re creamy, pigmented and long-lasting and most importantly: they definitely do stain your lips. If you spot them somewhere, don’t leave the store without at least one.

That’s all! Have you picked any of these up yet?
And for my readers in Europe: have you spotted any of these over there? Let me know!
