One of my favorite beauty ‘gurus’ on YouTube is, without a doubt, EmilyNoel83 (I featured her and some of my other favorites here). In her recent Emily Awards video (her version of ‘yearly favorites’), she gave her ‘Most Outstanding Tool’ award to the Brush Guard.
I had heard of Brush Guards before, but I’d never tried them. When the Brush Guard first came out, it was only available online (if I’m not mistaken) and I didn’t want to pay shipping costs for something so inexpensive. When Emily raved about them in her video, she mentioned that they’re now available at Walmart now. Perfect! So the other day me and my baby boy went to Walmart to see if we could find them. And we did!
Brush Guards are cross-stitched plastic covers that hold the shape of a makeup brush. They also protect it from dust and dirt and you can use it to dry your brush.
I got the variety pack that includes 6 guards in 4 different sizes and retails for around $5 at Walmart.
