Using up my free samples (one of my ’13 beauty resolutions)

Last year I accumulated quite a few makeup and skin care samples. I got these samples as freebies with my Sephora or Ulta purchases. A lot of these samples I have given away to friends and to you guys, Kizzy Online readers, as gifts. However, some of these samples I put to aside for myself, with the intention of trying them out. Either because it happens to target my skin issue(s) or simply because I’m curious about the product! That never really happened though… My sample collection keeps getting bigger and bigger…

Because I don’t want it to get completely out of control, I decided to go through them and divide them into ‘function’. If you remember, one of my new year’s beauty resolutions is to use what I have. So my plan for the rest of the month, I to use up ALL my samples. I’ll do a follow-up post to let you know which products I like or which I didn’t like and why. Of course I won’t be fully reviewing these samples: 1 sample is definitely not enough to try out a product, but I’ll definitely will let you know my initial thoughts. :-)

Below are the samples I currently have:

You can leave a response. And just a heads up: if you see a comment in a foreign language, it’s probably Dutch. I have a lot of readers from The Netherlands.

Some of them I use right as I get them… others I find months later in the bottom of a drawer and try them out. One cleanser I tried recently smelled like dirt, so that was kind of a turn off. I love shampoo & conditioner samples the most; they’re so great to take to the gym or on vacation :)

Haha! Now I’m curious…. what brand was the cleanser that smelled like dirt? :-D
