Unboxing: Inside my Influenster VoxBox 2012

03 Jan 2013

Hi everybody! Have you heard of Influenster yet? Influenster is a great word-of-mouth company that lets you try out things and express your opinion on various brands and products. I’ve recently gotten the opportunity to try out several new products when they sent out their Holiday VoxBox. Inside the box were several fun products that I get to test out.

Here is what I got.

Influenster Holiday VoxBox 2012

I received a LiquidLipshine in 582 Nude York City. I believe this is my first NYC lipgloss, can’t wait to try it! It looks like a perfect nude. Hopefully it’s not sticky or stinky. I’ll do a quick review on this one soon.

The next thing I spotted in my VoxBox are Kiss Nail Dress nail stickers. The pattern I was sent is KDS10, a leopard print with gold. Very cute! I’ve never tried nail stickers, simply because they seem like a hassle to me. I am, however, going to try these. If it’s works out, I’ll do a on my nails post.

QUAKER REAL MEDLEYS: $1.79 per cup
I also received a Quaker Real Medleys breakfast on-the-go, in the flavor Apple Walnut. I’m actually not a big oat meal fan, so I think I’m going to pass on trying this. Sorry!

What I’m really excited about is the Goody Quikstyle brush that was in my box. I love the Goody brush I got from Walmart (this one), so I’m happy to have another one! This particular brush is said to cut my beauty routine time down by 30%. It has absorbent microfiber bristles that reduces water by 30%. I’ll definitely share my thoughts in a separate review!

EBOOST: $28 for box of 20
The last thing I received in my Influenster Vox Box is a Eboost Natural Energy packet. This is a dietary supplement (a powder that you mix with water), in the flavor ‘pink lemonade’. It’s said to be a pre-workout favorite among celebrities. Currently my workout is taking care of my baby boy and I occasional do yoga in my living room. For this reason I can’t really try this out in combination with a real ‘workout’. I am excited to try this though, it never hurts to get some more energy!

I’m not over the moon excited about the contents of this box, but it does give me the opportunity to try two things that I would probably not have purchased myself: the Kiss Nail Dress stickers and the Goody Quickstyle hair brush. The NYC Liquid Lipshine is also good to have! Have you tried any of these products?

I’m curious to see how you like the kiss nail dress

  2. Me too! I hardly have time to paint my nails these days, so if these work, I’ll be a happy camper! (work as in: easy to apply and long lasting!).

  3. I just requested an invite. How long did you have to wait for one?
