Looking for a product that will brighten your complexion and make your skin look and feel smooth for the holidays? I think I’ve found it!
Mia Mariu RestauraCel-C Thermal Microdermabrasion ($55) This fabulous set of two products is your gentle at home alternative to microdermabrasion. RestauraCel-C delivers dramatic skin restoration benefits with our powerful Vitamin C micro resurfacing spheres plus deep thermal action that warms the skin to help open, purify and minimize pores as well as remove dead skin cells aiding in the penetration of other products. Suitable for all skin types, non-irritating, oil-free. Thermal Activator (1.9 oz) / Refinisher Cream (2.0 oz).
I’ve been using RestauraCel-C for about a month now: I apply it twice a week and I’m definitely going to continue using this set! This is what I do: I wash my face with warm water and I mix small amounts of both products (the Refinisher Cream and the Thermal Activator) into the palm of my hand until I feel it ‘heat up’ a little bit. Then I massage it into my face for a few minutes (it actually feels like a mild scrub!). I do this for about 3 minutes, that’s it. Even though 3 minutes isn’t long, it makes my skin feel extremely soft and smooth instantly. Amazing!
I love that it just takes a few minutes of my time (literally!) and it still has all the benefits of an in-spa microdermabrasion: it brightens my complexion, buffs away dead surface cells + discoloration and reduces the appearance of enlarged pores and acne scars. After extended use it’s said to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I just love how it makes my skin feel.
Products that are formulated with vitamin C are usually very expensive and if you’re familiar with microdermabrasion you know that getting this treatment done in a salon isn’t inexpensive as well. I love that I can do this at home, that it only takes me a few minutes and I still get the same results without the hefty price tag.
