Quick review: Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Lipstick in 04 (a deep purple)

A couple of days ago I posted pictures of my Outfit of the Day. After that post I received a lot of comments from people who wanted to know what I wore on my lips. It actually was a combo of two lip products!

English model Kate Moss teamed up with Rimmel some time ago and came out with a line of lipsticks, called The Kate Collection. This is one of them. It doesn’t have it name, just a number (04). It’s very pretty deep aubergine purple. It kinda reminds me of MAC’s Yung Rapunxel.

The lipstick has a matte finish which I’m not a super fan of, so I pair it with a gloss. I chose one of my brightest pink glosses to make the purple more wearable. I love it! It’s soft, creamy, easy to apply (easier than Yung Rapunxel ) and lasts pretty long on my lips. Swatches and more pictures below.

Rimmel London Lasting Finish by Kate Lipsticks retails for around $5. There are currently about 8 different shades and you can find them at most drugstores and Ulta. Do you have any of these lipsticks?
