My October Favorites (and 10% off Sigma)

30 Oct 2012

For my readers on the East Coast that may have been impacted by Sandy, I hope you and your family are safe!

I was going to do an ‘Outfit of the Day’ post today to show you pictures of me wearing my new shoes (I wrote about them yesterday), but it’s been raining almost all day and I’ve been inside watching the coverage on superstorm Sandy (crazy!). So I’ll have to take those pictures another day.

Anyway, this post is about my monthly favorites (I do this post every month). My favorites this month aren’t too exciting, since I’ve been using and enjoying pretty much the same products as last month. Click here to check out my favorite products from September.

I do have 3 relatively new (and very affordable!) items that I’ve been loving. Check them out below. 🙂

Hard Candy Glossaholic

Hard Candy Glossaholic Lip Gloss in ‘creamsicle’

I reviewed this gloss the other day. If you like lipglasses by MAC, you’re going to love this one! It smells just like a lipglass. It has a big applicator, which makes it very easy to apply. This particular color is very pretty: it has a nice sheen and is not sticky. The only downside: you can find Hard Candy at Walmart (in the US and Canada).

Physicians Formula Eye Booster 2 in 1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner Serum

Physicians Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum

Yay! I found a liquid eyeliner from the drugstore that I LOVE! I think this is the BEST liquid eyeliner I’ve found at the drugstore so far. It’s affordable, easy to apply, very pigmented (black is really black and not dark grey!) and long lasting. As you know I have oily lids and because of this not every liner stays on me. This one stays all day without smudging. Besides it being a liner, it’s also infused with a serum that’s supposed to help your lashes grow. Double yay!

Sigma Beauty brushes brush Dry ’n Shape System

Sigma Beauty Dry ’n Shape system

The Dry ‘n Shape System is basically a piece of cloth that looks a lot like a normal brush roll. It’s not though! There are 12 slots with a band that goes around each handle and each bristle section. It completely dries your makeup brushes in a fraction of the time and reshapes them to their original form. It’s so handy! I can quickly clean my brushes, put them in this brush roll and a few hours later they’re dry. Ideal! You can read my full review on this here.

Speaking of Sigma: I have the latest discount code for you! If you enter this coupon code at checkout, it will give you a 10% discount (valid from November 1 until November 30). The new code for November is:

So these were my favorites. 🙂 What are yours? Did you start using any new products?

Some of these products were sent to me for review purposes. All opinions are completely mine and are not influenced by outside sources.
