A while back I wrote about an acne treatment called Coral Actives. This was a treatment that consists of a retinol exfoliating cleanser and a penetrating acne serum gel with 10% Benzoyl Peroxide. I absolutely LOVED these products, they did wonders for my skin.
Besides these two products Coral Actives also makes a moisturizer (I’ve tried this one too) and a Acne Cleansing Bar. As the name says, this is a bar that’s specifically to treat acne on the chest, back, shoulder and buttocks. The formulation includes 10% Benzoyl Peroxide and a mix of Vitamins A and E, Coconut Oil and Shea Butter.
Luckily, I don’t suffer from ‘bacne’, as some people call it, so I’m not going to review this product. But I do know that there are a lot of people out there who do, so that’s why I decided to tell you about it today! I’ve had great experiences with Coral Actives (and so have a lot of my friends!) and I’m confident that this product is a gem as well.
It’s a typical bar, nothing too flashy as you can see. It does have some great ingredients that you don’t find in a ‘regular’ bar of soap. Its main ingredients are 10% Benzoyl Peroxide, Vitamin A and E, Coconut Oil and Shea Butter. There’s is nothing better at killing bacteria than benzoyl peroxide. It is the most widely used topical treatment of acne with significant antibacterial, anti-keratolytic and comedolytic activity. It has definitely worked on my skin.
If you suffer from acne on your back, shoulders or bum, I would definitely recommend this product to you! The Acne Cleansing Bar is available on coralactives.com and it retails for $7.95.
