Ready for a great mascara deal? Almay is slowly discontinuing one of their mascaras and is now practically giving it way. 😉 I’m talking about the: Almay One Coat Dial Up Mascara. From what I understand this mascara received some great reviews in the past. It is said to not smudge or flake off during the day and to give you great volume!

It’s an interesting one though! Here’s how it works: within the mascara tube, you can get three effects: full, fuller and real full lashes with the simple click of the dial (see pictures). As you go from Dial 1 to Dial 2, the hole of wand widens. It gets even wider when you turn to Dial 3. As the hole gets wider, more mascara ends up on the wand. More mascara on a wand means more mascara on your lashes, which of course means more volume. 😉

And this is how Almay described this mascara:

Adjustable dial allows you to take your lashes from full to fuller to fullest, providing the customized look you want in just one coat of mascara. Molded brush separates and defines every lash while quick building volumizing formula applies evenly and easily. Clump free.

Like I said, this mascara has been discontinued, meaning that Almay won’t be making any more. This also means that you can now get this mascara for cheap! I got mine at Kroger, my local grocery store, for just $2.12, in stead of the regular $8 something. The display did have the original price, but when I went to check out, the register showed $2.12 + tax.

So yes, if you run across an Almay display, check if they have this mascara! Chances are it has been marked down. :-)

Have you every tried Almay’s One Coat Dial Up? What are your thoughts?
