Latest purchase: the new 8-pan Wet N Wild palettes

22 Feb 2011

Yay! It took a while, but the 8-pan Wet N Wild palettes that were supposed to be in stores nationwide mid January, finally showed up at my Walgreens the other day! For those who don’t know: Walgreens is a drugstore/pharmacy, similar to CVS.

These new palettes retail for just $4.95 each and I purchased two. There are three, but the third one didn’t appeal to me that much. The one I didn’t buy is called: Blue had me at hello. Like the name implies, it has different shades of blue. Blue is my favorite color, but blue eye shadow doesn’t attract me that much…. Maybe I’ll change my mind and pick it up in the future, but for now I’m very happy with the two palettes I did pick up.

Here’s a closer look at two of the three palettes: Comfort Zone and Petal Pusher.

There are (already!) lots of swatches online, so I’m not going to swatch these palettes. I am going to do several ‘faces to the day’ with these. I’ll start with Comfort Zone, because that’s my favorite. To be continued! 🙂

  1. I can’t find these babies anywhere. I’m not a fan of Wet n Wild but since so many people are talking about them it is worth the $5 to test them out. Can’t wait to see the looks you create.

  2. Ohh Mooi zeg, vooral die comfort zone is <3

  3. They are only sold at (some) Walgreens and Walmart.

I loved loved loved (and still love!) their holiday palettes and when I heard that these are even better, I HAD to have them. 🙂

  4. Wauw….ze zien er prachtig uit

  5. Nice find 🙂 Comfort Zone is very pretty. Looking forward to the looks.

  6. Wat een gave palette, erg handig ook waarvoor de kleuren dienen.
