One of my 2010 resolutions is to add new content to my site daily. Not once a week, not once every other day, but daily.
So far it was going good. I did miss a day though: yesterday. Yesterday there was no new blog post. Why, you’re asking? Well, I was busy sleeping until noon, buying groceries at different stores and not meeting new people at the Silicon Valley Tweet up. Oops!
Anyway, to make up for my failure, this is my SECOND post of the day! W00t!
Yesterday, I discovered something new at the drugstore: the Maybelline Eye Studio Baked Marbleized Shadow Duos (see pic).These eye shadows are part of Maybelline’s Eye Studio line, which consists of shadows, mascara and gel liners. The line came out last year I believe.
I was definitely drawn to these shadow duos because of their appearance! Two super pretty ‘baked’ shadows in a swirled marble design! They resemble MAC’s mineralized eye shadows, but cheaper: I bought mine for $6.99 at Walmart, but I see that Amazon is selling them for $5.99 each).
I wanted to grab every shade, but I decided to be a good girl, so I got only one: Bronze Blowout. Bronze Blowout is made of golden glowing gold that has a hint of peach and a bronze-y brown. Super pretty!
I will do a look with these shadows soon!
