Hi guys! I’m back!

I’m doing my best to update my site once a day. So far it’s going pretty good!

Today I wanna show you some food pics (or pics of me and my hubby eating/waiting to eat)!!

One of my favorite things in America is defnitely the food. There are food places everywhere and I feel like more people go ‘out’ for dinner here than in Europe. The main reason for this is probably the fact that food here is much cheaper than in Europe! I love it though. For me going out to dinner’ is a feast!

So far we’ve gone out a few times. Not too often though…. Buying groceries and making something yourself is still less expensive..

Things I have to get used to in restaurants:

Unlimited drinks during a meal: Even though I’ve been in the States every year since 2004, it’s still weird to have someone fill up your glass every time you’ve taken a few sips. In Europe there is no such thing as free refills

Overly present waiters: Sure, there are waiters in Holland. But they usually aren’t as energetic and over the top as American ones! But then again, the waiters in Holland don’t ‘live on’ tips. Speaking of tips:

Tipping: I have to remember to tip about 10 to 15%!

Diet coke that tastes like bleach water: Yeah, I’m not a big fan…
