Haul! (shopping while on a ‘no-buy’)

I’m on a ‘no-buy’ (that means: no shopping for a while to save some money!), but I did make an exception for these items.

1. I received a $15,- gift certificate from Sephora. It was expiring soon, so I decided to put it towards these two Nars products. They’re expensive (I know), but I’ve read/heard some good reviews on them. Especially from mocha girls like me!

‘Albatross’ is a highlighter (you apply it to your cheek bones) and ‘Lovejoy’ is a regular blush.

2. For my birthday my parents gave me a gift certificate for Douglas (a chain comparable to Sephora). This was back in August! Since I’m leaving soon, I had not choice but to spend it (lol! good excuse, huh?)

I bought Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture. I’ve had samples of it before. It’s a delicious smell and the bottle is eye candy!

3. The Jimmy Choo collection for H&M
These were relatively pricey (cause after all, it IS mass produced for H&M), but I just had to get them!

4. Nat from The Beauty Brat was having a blog sale the other day. She has a lot of make up that she doesn’t use (we all do right?), so she was selling some of it for a very good price. I’ve bought stuff from Nat before, she’s such a sweet girl.

This is a blush and bronzer duo from Milani in ‘Sunset City’. I already own this, but I couldn’t resist buying a back-up since I love it so much. I was recommended to me by D. from Freshdimez!

This product doesn’t break me out or cause an allergic reaction, which is excellent news to me cause my skin can’t handle most powders.

L’Oreal HIP Eyeshadow Duo in ‘Dynamic’! Love it! The shadows are very pigmented and the colors are really pigmented.

I bought also this lip gloss from Nat. I don’t like it at all. The color looks nice in the packaging, but I’m not feeling it on real life… Orange really doesn’t look good on my lips…

Anyway, that’s it! Not bad right? I’ve been on ‘No-Buy’ since September, I believe.

Wow Nars Albatross is still on top of my must-have list. I would love to see a swatch of it Kizzy whenever you have time to swatch it.

Viva La Juicy is a nice smell, I own a body oil of it by Lucretia body oils and sprays. Exactly the same smell, love it.
