So who doesn’t want Aretha Franklin’s hat she wore during Barack’s inauguration? She looked fabulous, right? 
She looked like a character in Disney World…...
The hat worn by the ‘Queen of Soul’ was hand-molded by designer Luke Song. The design came from two different hats at the store.
“She walked through the shop and said ‘I want that bow (put) on that hat,’” he said. “She had the coat already, but she needed the hat to set it off.”
If it were on sale, it would cost upward of $500. However, the hatmaker made the gear especially for her to wear on January 20, and swore to her he’d never make another one like it.
But everybody was nagging him about it: just minutes after Aretha sang the song on live tv, Luke’s phones started ringing. So now he’s selling knock-offs for $179. It not a hat that he’s selling, it’s a satin ribbon version.
