It’s 2006! Time to sum up last year!

[1] what did you do in 2005 that you’d never done before?
buying an apartment and living with my American boyfriend

[2] did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I never really make resolutions and if I do, I don’t really mean any of it

[3] did anyone close to you give birth?
yeah, my niece did… she gave birth to a baby girl

[4] did anyone close to you die?
no, not anyone close to me. My mom’s cousin/friend died though

[5] what countries did you visit?
Belgium (Brussels and Antwerpen), Denmark (Copenhagen) and the US (California and Hawaii)

[6] what would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
err…can’t think of anything!

[7] what date(s) from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
3rd of February, the day I got the keys to our apartment

[8] what was your biggest achievement of the year?
finding a permanent, ideal job

[9] what was your biggest failure?
not finding it sooner

[10] did you suffer any illness or injury?
minor things, nothing serious

[11] what was the best thing you bought?
probably the apartment, it was a good investment

[12] whose behavior merited celebration?
my boyfriend, cause he’s always positive and sweet

[13] whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
lots of people really, don’t want to get into that

[14] where did most of your money go?
furniture and other house stuff

[15] what did you get really, really, really excited about?
Going on vacation (twice), I really felt I deserved it

i. happier or sadder? happier
ii. thinner or fatter? thinner (little bit)
iii. richer or poorer? poorer in a way

can’t think of anything

[20] how will you be spending christmas?
Christmas has passed already, I was in Hawaii with my boyfriend’s family

I fall in love again every time I see my boyfriend…lol

[23] how many one-night stands?
0, and I’m not planning on having those in 2006 either

[24] what was your favorite TV program?
CSI, America’s Next Topmodel and Will & Grace

[25] do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?
nope, I don’t hate anybody. I do dislike a few people…

[26] what was the best book you read?
nothing in particular. I was really into chick lit this past year (to keep my mind off other things)

[27] what was your greatest musical discovery?
don’t think I discovered anything new, just a lot of the same I guess

[28] what did you want and get?
a laptop

[29] what did you want and not get?
a new camera

[30] what was your favorite film of this year?
I would say Flightplan (War of the Worlds, and King Kong were good too)

[31] what did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I celebrated it with my boyfriend (for the first time) and it was great. I turned 26

[32] what one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
if my boyfriend would have gotten his Dutch residency permit faster

[33] how would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005?
I’ve been really into flat shoes. I gave up on heels

my boyfriend and my mom

Garry Dourdan (Warrick Brown from CSI)

the whole thing with Bush and the reason(s) he started a war

My cousin, who will remain anonymous

Two actually: my boyfriend’s parents
